A high-temperature oven is a device with high-temperature heating function, which mainly has the following functions:
1、 In terms of industrial production
    1. Drying treatment
In many industrial manufacturing processes, products or raw materials contain a certain amount of moisture, which may affect product quality or subsequent processing steps. A high-temperature oven can achieve the purpose of drying by rapidly evaporating moisture through high-temperature heating. For example, in ceramic production, the ceramic body needs to be fully dried before firing to prevent problems such as cracking during the firing process. Place the ceramic body in a high-temperature oven and bake it at an appropriate temperature (such as 100-200 ℃) for a certain period of time to remove moisture from the body.
In the electronics industry, some electronic components also require drying treatment before packaging. For example, there may be a small amount of cleaning solution left on the circuit board after cleaning, which can be evaporated by a high-temperature oven to ensure the quality and performance of the circuit board.
    2. Curing treatment
For certain coatings, adhesives, or composite materials, a high-temperature oven can be used for curing. Curing refers to the process of heating these materials to undergo a chemical reaction, transforming them from liquid or semi liquid to solid, thereby obtaining the desired physical and chemical properties. Taking powder coating as an example, in a high-temperature oven, the powder coating melts, flattens, and solidifies on the surface of the coated object at a temperature of 180-220 ℃, forming a hard and smooth protective film that improves the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the object.
In composite material manufacturing, such as fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), the resin matrix needs to be cured at high temperatures. The uniform high-temperature environment provided by the high-temperature oven can ensure that the resin is fully cured, resulting in good mechanical properties and dimensional stability of the composite material.
    3. Aging test
High temperature ovens can also be used to simulate the long-term use of products in high-temperature environments for aging testing. By placing the product in a high-temperature oven and setting conditions higher than the actual operating temperature, the aging process of the product is accelerated, and the performance changes of the product under high temperature environment are observed, such as material strength decrease, color change, electrical performance degradation, etc. This is crucial for evaluating the product's lifespan and reliability. For example, automotive components, wires and cables, and other products require high-temperature aging testing during the research and production process.
2、 In terms of scientific experiments
    1. Sample pretreatment
In experiments in disciplines such as chemistry and materials science, high-temperature ovens are commonly used for sample pretreatment. For example, in analytical chemistry, some samples need to be dried at high temperatures to a constant weight in order to accurately determine the content of certain components in the sample. For ore samples, correct composition analysis can only be carried out after removing moisture and volatile impurities through a high-temperature oven.
In materials science research, the process of preparing new materials may require high-temperature treatment of the raw materials to alter their crystal structure or microstructure. For example, in the preparation of nanomaterials, high-temperature ovens can be used to decompose or react precursor materials at high temperatures, generating the desired nanostructured materials.
    2. Environmental simulation experiment
Researchers can use high-temperature ovens to simulate high-temperature environments and study the reactions of organisms, materials, etc. in such extreme environments. In biological experiments, when studying the effects of high temperature on microorganisms and cells, culture dishes containing microorganisms or cells can be placed in a high-temperature oven, with different temperature gradients and times set to observe the growth, reproduction, death, and other conditions of the organisms. In the study of material properties, high-temperature environments can also be simulated to investigate the thermal stability, coefficient of thermal expansion, and other thermal properties of materials.
